Health & Wellness

While our primary focus is the physical body, we hold a deeper intuition that we are far more than just our physical forms. The intricate nature of our nervous system—and how we sense, perceive, and make sense of our reality—proves this every day.

Health is difficult to define because it is built on so many interconnected elements. Often, these elements go unnoticed until a problem arises, yet their interwoven nature means that every system constantly influences the next.

True health is never static; it exists in a state of constant flux. The ebb and flow of natural cycles is the essence of life itself, requiring adaptative movement rather than rigidity. While homeostasis governs this balance, it doesn't mean staying frozen at the center. Instead, it grants us the freedom to experience the full spectrum of expansion, contraction, and growth.

That is why at SOLAS, while our core expertise lies in physical movement, we actively integrate Mind(clarity, cognition, perception) and Spirit (essence, connection, vitality) to help you unlock your full potential.

Solas Physiotherapy

Solas Physiotherapy was founded by husband-and-wife team Ray and Roisin McGinley on one simple principle: effective therapy starts with understanding the whole person, not just the point of pain. Drawing on our background in professional sport, specialist clinical care, and human movement, we have developed a unique, holistic approach to physiotherapy.

Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing persistent pain, returning to sport, or simply looking to move and feel better, we tailor our care around what matters most to you. Our aim goes beyond short-term recovery—we focus on building long-term resilience, giving you the confidence and physical capacity to adapt as your body and life evolve.

A Space to Move and Grow

Alongside our clinic, our dedicated Pilates and yoga studio offers a space for those who want to take an active role in their health and well-being. Through mindful movement, breathwork, strength building, and sensory awareness, our studio helps you build a deeper connection with your body. Whether you are rebuilding confidence after injury or maintaining peak wellness, you can move, learn, and grow at your own pace in a supportive community setting.

Ray and Roisin are Chartered Physiotherapists registered with both the ISCP and CORU.
